The session will cover off the Local Government processes around budgeting and planning, the critical timing within those processes, what it takes to ensure your value proposition and funding requests make it through the system, and how to build the relationships and confidence needed to ensure your next LTP is a success.

CEO of Venture Taranaki – Kelvin Wright will lead a lunch and learn session based on his experience of being on both sides of this equation from his former role of Deputy CEO of New Plymouth District Council, and insights on what has worked in the Taranaki context of multi council funding of Venture Taranaki and increased funding for the 2024 Long Term Plans.
